Simply Beds Delivery Options

At Simply Beds, we aim to be fully transparent with pricing and quality. While some companies might offer “free” delivery, the cost is often built into the price of the mattress itself, which can make the product more expensive overall. We separate the mattress and delivery costs so you know what you’re paying for.

By charging a delivery fee, we ensure that your mattress is handled by professional delivery teams who take the utmost care in transporting and setting up your purchase. It also allows us to maintain competitive pricing on the actual mattress, ensuring you’re paying for the product itself, not hidden extras.

Additionally, offering paid delivery gives us the flexibility to deliver across a wider area with reliable timing and customer service, without compromising on the quality or affordability of the mattress itself.

Here our delivery options

1.      Standard Delivery—If you live in the greater Brisbane area, we can deliver your mattress absolutely free. When we deliver for free, there is only one person delivering the mattress. You will need an adult capable of helping the delivery person unload the mattress at your address. Failure to have a person at your address may result in extra charges. Delivery is to your front door only. We will not enter your home during this delivery. This service does not include carrying items up flights of stairs. We don’t remove your old mattress or base. Free delivery is applicable on purchases of mattresses and ensembles. Free delivery is available in Brisbane metro only. The minimum purchase required to qualify for free delivery is $799.
2. Two-man delivery—For a flat fee of $88, we provide a premium delivery service that includes two professional delivery team members bringing your mattress right into your room of choice. This means no heavy lifting for you, no hassle navigating stairs or doorways, and peace of mind knowing the mattress is handled with care from our store to your home.

   Our team is trained to manage large, bulky items like mattresses safely and efficiently. This fee also helps cover things like fuel, vehicle maintenance, staff wages, and the time it takes to complete each delivery properly — especially when we’re going into homes and not just dropping boxes at the door.

3. 4.5 Star Service – Delivery, Unpacking, and Setup—In most areas in greater Brisbane, we can deliver your bed or mattress with two people. The two delivery people will put the mattress or bed in your room.  In the case of an ensemble, our delivery drivers will be able to assemble it for you. The delivery cost for this in Brisbane is $138. The cost will vary for more than two ensembles. We can carry a maximum of three flights of stairs with this service. This service does not include assembling a bed frame or a bedroom suite.
4.   5 Star Service—Delivery, Unpacking, Setup, and Removal of Old Mattress or Base—This is our premium service, which is mainly available in greater Brisbane. At the time of delivery, we will remove your old mattress or base of similar type and size. To remove more items, there will be additional costs. The total for the premium service is $169 per ensemble in the Brisbane area. An extra mattress or ensemble base will incur an additional $49 per piece. Cost will vary for other areas. We can carry a maximum of five flights of stairs with this service.

Delivery Terms And Conditions

1.  Simply Beds will deliver the mattresses or ensembles to your premises and, where applicable, remove the Old mattress or base from those Premises, in accordance with these terms & conditions.
2. Simply Beds will do their absolute best to deliver your mattress or base on the agreed day.  We deliver on Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).  In some circumstances we can deliver on the weekend but the costs will be higher.  Talk to your local store prior to booking a weekend delivery.  We will not deliver if we can’t contact you and we do not offer set time for delivery.  We do offer two hour brackets for delivery times.  On the day of delivery we will call you at least 30 minutes prior to delivery.   Please note that delivery may be affected by factors outside of Simply Beds’s control, such as weather and traffic conditions.  In some cases Simply Beds uses a third party courier company and Simply Beds therefore cannot guarantee delivery at the prearranged time and day. Where this happens Simply Beds will provide you with as much notice as practical and will arrange another delivery day with you.
3. Delivery times can be changed with 24 hour notice to Simply Beds.  At the time of delivery there should be an adult or a person with authority to receive the goods.  Failure to have an adult may result in extra waiting time and charges may apply.
4. The person arranging the delivery must ensure that there is ample space to park the truck and delivery drivers don’t have to carry the beds and mattresses more than 20 metres.
5. It’s your responsibility to make sure pets are secured prior to delivery.
6. Simply Beds and its couriers will take reasonable care but cannot guarantee that floors or walls will not get dirty, wet or incur minor scuffing or minor indentations at the time of delivery. Simply Beds suggests that you cover floors or walls to protect them. Simply Beds prefers to park the delivery truck on the road at the time of delivery, however in case we have to drive onto the private property because of the distance for the delivery drivers to carry the goods, we do not accept any responsibility for damage to any plants, fences and buildings.  
7. In case of removing an old bed – the customer should ensure that the bed is unassembled.  Simply Beds will not remove assembled bed frames.
