Gel Infused Pillow Top Mattress and Base

Gel Comfort is a 7-zoned pocket coil mattress and base. Pocket coils are nothing unusual, but the way they are supported is more important. These springs have a special foam box along the perimeter of the mattress. This foam encasement provides extra support along the edges so that when you sit on the mattress, it does not collapse under your weight. If the sides collapse, it can cause a person to slide down whilst sitting on the side to get in and out of the bed. The side supports allow a person to sleep right to the edge of the mattress, enabling you to utilise the full sleeping area. Generally, imported mattresses or mattresses that come in a box do not come with any of these side supports; hence, they are cheaper. The side supports also provide the stability in the mattress.

The 7 zoned spring system provides extra support to the areas of the body that need the most support, such as the back, while providing minimum pressure on the shoulders for a side-sleeping person. It is very good for minimising partner disturbance in a mattress and features a non-roll effect for people with differing weights.

Gel Comfort comes with gel-infused memory foam padding with a pillow top. Gel-infused memory foam is designed to give softness and a cooler sleeping surface. It is very high-density, low-pressure padding. Memory foam lasts longer and retains shape for a longer period of time. All the padding used is treated, allowing for the control of dust mites, bacteria, mould and mildew. A high-quality knitted fabric and a plush quilting on top give an overall medium-soft feel to the mattress. Gel Comfort is a very good mattress with budget in mind.
